Debra Spatz

Debra is the founder of Spatz Law Group, located in Akron, Ohio, and a member of the Oath Collective. As an estate planning attorney, Debra is dedicated to helping families protect their loved ones, their values, and their financial assets – during their life and for generations to come.  With a background in business law, she is able to guide business owners through business succession planning as part of a coordinated estate plan.

Raised in the Chicago area, she earned a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she focused on corporate, securities, and international law. After practicing transactional law and civil litigation in Chicago, Debra moved to Ohio to start a family with her husband.  When she has free time, Debra enjoys spending time with her children, creating art and jewelry through woodworking or spending time in local coffee shops.
